Lanoca Design — Platform Rebuild
A rebuild of the website I first made for Lanoca, an interior design and construction firm, from a single ASP.NET MVC 5 app into an API and three Next.js apps: the public site, an admin panel and an online catalogue.

What I built
- ASP.NET Core API (.NET 8, EF Core, SQL Server) with soft-delete and restore for every content type.
- Bilingual public site with server rendering, project galleries, OpenGraph and JSON-LD, and 301 redirects from every old URL so search rankings carried over.
- A catalogue viewer that replaced a paid third-party embed: page-flip animation, zoom, thumbnails, full-text search and PDF download. Admins upload a PDF; a background job renders the pages and extracts their text.
- Admin panel: projects, services, team, testimonials, invite-only users, a role × feature permission matrix, an audit log and a traffic dashboard.
Engineering highlights
- Database-backed sessions in a __Host- cookie, Argon2id, TOTP with encrypted secrets and recovery codes, three layers of rate limiting.
- Uploaded images are type-checked, stripped of metadata and re-encoded; SVGs pass an allowlist.
- Cookie-less analytics with a daily-rotating visitor hash.
- 75 API tests and scripted deploys to Windows IIS with post-deploy checks.
