What it does
- Uptime checks with response-time charts (p50/p95), body checks and slow-response alerts; targets grouped by domain.
- SSL certificate and domain expiry tracking (RDAP with a whois fallback).
- Live CPU, memory, temperatures, fans, battery, network and disks, plus a Task-Manager-style app list.
- A click-through performance overlay for games and heavy work, costing under 1% CPU.
- Server manager over SSH: services, nginx, logs and resource alerts, with per-server allowlisted actions.
- Alerts as native notifications or Slack/Discord webhooks, and scheduled email reports.
Engineering highlights
- Started as a Tauri + React app and rewritten natively in Swift in 15 phases; existing users were migrated in place without noticing.
- Reads 50+ Apple Silicon temperature sensors through IOKit, with an SMC fallback; an overlay sample takes about 1 ms.
- SSH host keys pinned on first use, credentials in the Keychain, every remote command audited.
- 385 tests; signed Sparkle updates.
