What it does
- Paste a link, see every format with quality, codec and size, or pick audio only.
- Batch links and whole playlists; a queue with progress, speed, pause, resume and a concurrency cap.
- A library of past downloads with retry, and "Watch", which downloads new uploads from a channel automatically.
- Thumbnails, chapters and subtitles embedded; browser cookies for sign-in-only content.
Engineering highlights
- Rewritten from Tauri to native Swift with a headless core package: an async process runner, an actor-based channel watcher and GRDB storage.
- yt-dlp and ffmpeg ship inside the app; ffmpeg is pinned and checked by SHA-256 at release time, and yt-dlp updates itself between app releases.
- 92 tests, including integration tests against the real yt-dlp.
